VJ Plus meticulously machines each sheet to a high quality finish from Australian Premium Grade High Moisture Resistant MDF, Hardwood and PLY sheeting. The beauty of the product is that it is quick and easy to install making it well suited to the DIY handyman.
The sheets are fitted together using the tongue and groove method that allows joining between the studs. The plastic polymer tongue has been specifically designed to allow quick and smooth joining and is removable which minimises wastage. Our sheets are more durable and versatile than plasterboard and are extremely cost effective due to the relatively low installation costs.
They can be used in conjunction with other dado panels, wall linings and mouldings to create a variety of interior design effects, including the “Shiplap” look in the ever popular “Hampton Style” home/renovation, and are easily applied over existing wall linings. The sheets are available pre-primed with a high quality, off-white READICOTE PRIMER, designed to accept a variety of topcoats.

Traditional VJ
Australian Premium Grade Moisture Resistant MDF sheets profiled with a “V”Groove to resemble the “VJ”Tongue and Groove boards. The most commonly used sheets have a 4inch/100mm inter-groove distance but 86mm and 150mm distances are available. The sheets are meticulously machined and have a specifically designed plastic polymer tongue, providing a hidden joining system which allows for off-stud joining. The sheets are 1214mm wide and are available in a wide variety of lengths from 900mm to 5400mm (See Specs).
Traditional Bead
Australian Premium Grade Moisture Resistant MDF sheets profiled to resemble the common 150mm Beaded Tongue & Groove boards. The bead consists of a small “Pencil Round”within a vertically sided groove. The sheets are meticulously machined and have a specifically designed plastic polymer tongue, providing a hidden joining system which allows for off-stud joining. The sheets are 1214mm wide and are available in a wide variety of lengths from 900mm to 5400mm (See Specs).
Regency Bead
Australian Premium Grade Moisture Resistant MDF sheets profiled to resemble 150mm Regency Beaded Boards. The Regency differs from the Traditional Bead by having a slightly larger bead in the groove, and the groove has chamfered, rather than vertical sides. The sheets are meticulously machined and have a specifically designed plastic polymer tongue, providing a hidden joining system which allows for off-stud joining. The sheets are 1214mm wide and are available in a wide variety of lengths from 900mm to 5400mm (See Specs).
